At ViGO, we keep mentioning, proudly, we are the first portable therapeutic device to successfully integrate High Electric Potential therapy (and 3 more energy modalities) into a PEMF device. It becomes 5-in-1. So what is the technical difficulty? What is the engineering barrier?
People would think nowadays many electronic modules can be embedded into one device. It is true. Many products have done that: our smart phones for a good example. But that doesn’t mean we can easily combine anything together. In the therapeutic device industry, most likely High Potential therapy devices are found to be standalone instruments, big in volume too. They typically serve one single modality: to provide high potential therapy. And that in and of itself is not an easy task already. There is a reason for that.
The rule of thumb is: What most electronics dread the most (and thus try all things to avoid in their designs) is high electrical potential fields in their vicinity, externally or internally. Hypothetically if we placed an ultra high potential field inside our cell phone, immediately the countless diodes and capacitors in the circuit would start to self-discharge responding to the field. Any written programs would go crazy or shut down. The electronics would malfunction or cease operation. There is a technical term for that: electronic break-down due to high fields.
For this reason, electronic devices’ engineers do everything and anything to exclude a high potential field scenario from the inside the device and try everything to insulate one from the exterior. Even so, most electronic devices will start to disfunction when they are placed too close to a high potential source. It is just matter of distance and intensity to/of the source.
So what is it like to have an ultra high (20KV+) potential field placed internally in a device alongside all other working components? A High Potential Therapy device by nature needs to have that ultra high field generated from the interior. It is for therapeutic purpose and the output of it is not harmful to human beings (high field, low currents). The inner chamber has to generate and house that ultra high electrical field source. All the diodes , capacitors and the programmed chips in this small space or in the close vicinity of this space have to withstand this field.
Now try to insert a fully-fledged PEMF module into the very same chamber, that PEMF and High Potential energies output simultaneously and through the very same surface for therapy.
For many engineers this is just an unimaginable design. Common beliefs are that no sophisticated electronics could withstand this strong internal electrical field.
ViGO Energy Med/Pal has done and does exactly this. All of its energies are fully functional simultaneously: High potential, PEMF, Thermal, Far infrared and Negative ions.
Now going on to the thermal modality. Another rule of thumb: The other element a typical electronic device absolutely “hates” is HEAT. Most devices start to halt when internal temperature reaches past 70 C because most circuit elements start to malfunction past that.
As we introduced, ViGO Energy Med/Pal integrates a thermal modality for the therapeutic heat output (important for the 5-in-1 therapy). Its surface thermal temperature is around 43C. This means the internal temperature could reach past 70C at times. External heat is a nuisance. Internal heat is just a recipe for absolute headaches in terms of complex engineering. ViGO Energy Med/Pal has a typical internal temperature of 65~70C. But it doesn’t malfunction and the device handles the heat internally very well.
We will continue explaining the far-infrared modality and negative ions function that are inside ViGO Energy Med/Pal in future chapters.
To sum up for now, the inner environment of ViGO Energy Med/Pal device is a combination of ultra high electrical field and high heat. The circuits, chips and all modules are located in this enclosed chamber. Instead of a two-part or three part device body, ViGO Energy Med/Pal chooses to be a one-part portable body device for ergonomics and therapeutic efficiency & superiority. ViGO Energy Med/Pal runs stably and problem-free at all time no matter what is thrown at it. It has been approved by all the standard tests it has been subjected to.
This takes technological sophistication and a lot of experience. The chief engineers at ViGO come from an ultra high power device engineering background. This makes things possible.
This is why ViGO Energy Med/Pal device is such a rare design and an engineering achievement underneath all that low key "simple" appearance.
